Lightweight, Premium, Marine Grade Okoume or Sapele Plywood
This easy to carry, gorgeous paddleboard tracks with finesse. The fine bow slices through the water with minimum displacement. Its kayak-derived shape lifts the paddleboard up and over waves.
The paddleboards come in two sizes: the 14′ is suitable for larger paddlers or those who carry along dogs or small children. The 12’6″ board is better suited for small paddlers or those who are interested in racing.
Stitch and glue construction, along with the development of epoxy and modern marine plywood revolutionizes modern wooden boat construction. This method is stronger, lighter and faster than traditional boat building, yet requires no strongbacks, forms or temporary frames to build. The components are stitched together using copper wires and then epoxied (or glued) for an extremely durable, hollow shell. Marine grade fiberglass is applied to the hull and finished with multiple coats of varnish.
Options include multiple hatches, custom deck rigging, custom graphics, air brushing, etc. Also available are cedar strip stitch and glue canoes and kayaks. Prices are dependent on options selected. You also have the option to do the final finishing work yourself.
